Shaker Helsinki

Shaker cocktail bar in Kamppi’s Tennis Palace, opened its doors for business in 2006. Since then it has made the list of Finland’s top 20 bars in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Shaker is known for its tasty cocktails, professional staff, great service and casual atmosphere. We value premium quality and freshness and therefore only select the finest ingredients for our use.

The bar has an indoor capacity of 40 people and the terrace caters for 20 more people during the summer.

In addition to our popular TOP 30 list, our professional bartenders are happy to prepare classic drinks, or custom made cocktails to suit your personal taste.

Our bartenders have been rewarded in renowned cocktail competitions and they belong to Finland’s flair elite. During the evenings you might even see how these fabulous drinks are created with flair.

Shaker Jyväskylä

2003 saw the opening of Finland’s first Shaker bar. At the time, Shaker had a capacity of forty customers.

Shaker Jyväskylä is known for its tasty cocktails, prepared by professional bartenders strutting their flashy flairtending skills.

In 2008, Shaker moved down the street to the corner of Yliopistonkatu and Väinönkatu. The décor changed from dusky to a subtle, fresh interior, five times the size of the old bar. Shaker currently offers a 200 customer capacity, with a small but idyllic terrace in the summer that catches the rays of the afternoon sun.

Cocktail School

We offer a prearranged custom training program at our cocktail bar, or we can bring the course to a venue of your choice.

At Shaker we believe in genuine, straightforward tastes in our drinks. We trust our professional skills and intuition. Premium, genuine and fresh ingredients are the craze that is sweeping the worldwide bar scene. Familiar tastes from kitchens are shifting their way into cocktails, short, hot, cold and bubbly drinks. We harness these tastes into our creations.

Classics
Drinks/cocktails have been prepared since the early 1800’s and many are still popular today. Cocktails with a past.

Perky and tasty martinis and bubbles. With and without champagne.

Hot drinks
Coffees, teas, cocoas, juices and grogs. Here are just a few examples from which to select your favorites.

6000 drinks in one hour
We teach what things to consider when creating cocktails and how to blend together different tastes to get the most out of them.

We can also arrange a customized course tailored to your wishes.
“Less is more” - drink quality not quantity.
The duration of the course is 1-2h. We require a minimum of 10 participants per course.
